Rod Kessler, EdD, MS, LCPC

Doctor of Educational Leadership, Master of Science, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor-Montana

I was as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wyoming for several years, and served as a school counselor in Wyoming. I spent numerous years training and working with the William Glasser Institute on Reality Therapy and Choice Theory.  I have just recently reentered the counseling world after working as a Director of Leadership Development for the Wyoming School Boards Association and a Facility Consultant for Plan One Architects.  My role in Educational Leadership and Counseling led me back to clinical counseling in Montana.

I attempt to serve my clients with care, understanding and guidance that will allow them to move forward with their lives in a productive and responsible manner.

I believe the keys to living an extraordinary and successful life depends on having a balanced life. I am constantly working on quality relationships, taking care of one’s health and trying to build a positive culture based on the foundation of trust!

My education includes a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Wyoming, a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of South Dakota and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with emphasis in Special Education from Dakota State College.

My work background includes 35 years of teaching, counseling, and administration.  Most of my career was spent in Wyoming serving Sweetwater County School District #2 for 11 years and Johnson County School District #1 where I retired in 2014 after serving 16 years as Superintendent.

I am an experienced adult.  In other words, I’ve been around for a while.  Humble beginnings and life lessons have provided me the opportunity to help others in life.  If you need some assistance, please give me a call and I will work with you in reaching your desired needs and wants.
